Einstein's quote, "Imagination is more powerful than knowledge"
has been an inspiration to me. As a mid-life artist, I strive to
create artistic images combining reality and imagination. Art is a synthesis
of my personal feelings blended with the interests of my family. My
inspiration comes mostly from life itself, the nuts and bolts of being
a mother and wife.
I have always had a fascination with the visual world around me; its
colors, shapes, tex-tures, and patterns. I create art intuitively exploring
different media on paper and small 3-dimensional sculptures. My architectural
background and faux art training are apparent in many of my works shaped
by my children's interests. The ordinary objects in life are made extraordinary
in my art.
